Industrial GRP Lining for Bund Floors & Walls – Wastewater Treatment Facility
SGI Composites delivered a high-performance fibreglass (GRP) lining solution for a water and wastewater management facility, applying a chemical-resistant system to a concrete and block bund floor, walls, and the orthophosphoric acid dosing room. Where cracks, gaps, or surface defects were present, the fibreglass system was used to reinforce and seal all voids, enhancing structural integrity while preventing leaks. The installation included the application of fibreglass matting across all surfaces, followed by a resin wash and top coat to achieve a durable, corrosion-resistant finish.
